The Pinnacle Foundation

First of all, let's start this post off with some good news.

From selling handmade pride flags, pom poms, and badges we will have raised over $100 after the completion of our next order. So now it's time to tell you all a little bit more about where this money is being sent, the Pinnacle Foundation.

Each stage of our operation will involve donations to different LGBTQ+ charities (and hopefully as our project expands, multiple charities simultaneously) but for the first stage the funds we've raised will be donated to the Pinnacle Foundation, so here is all you need to know about their organisation.

The Pinnacle Foundation is a non-for-profit organisation that raises money for scholarships that go to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex etc people and seeks to repair some of the damage that has been done to the community with education.

We believe that this organisation considering that there are very few LGBTQ+ figures in politics and many LGBTQ+ people with all ranges of jobs are often fired simply because of who they are. Providing more educational opportunities to LGBTQ+ people will help ensure a much higher chance of employment. As well as this, many LGBTQ+ youth become financially troubled or even homeless due to their family disowning them, education is a vital tool to improving individual lives and our broader society.

Another interesting part of the Pinnacle Foundation is that they are accepting of all career paths. Whether you wish to learn metal fabrication at TAFE or psychology at university, the Pinnacle Foundation offers support.

Through mentoring and scholarships, the Pinnacle Foundation seeks to help LGBTQ+ youth realise their full potential, and that is when we have decided to donate the profits of our project to their wonderful organisation.

if we're lucky, we might just help change someone's life.

Stay Strong and Have Pride
